New Year, New Bike!
Well not quite, but you can help your bike to feel as good
as new again by learning how to clean and maintain it properly on one of our 2015 maintenance courses
Choose from one of three levels…
‘Puncture Perfect’ masterclasses
If you just want to learn how to fix a puncture then our Puncture Perfect classes are for you. Maybe you don’t have the time to attend our 4-week course, or just want a little extra practise to help you feel more confident, our 2-hour session will show you how to remove your wheels, remove and replace an inner tube and give you the opportunity to fix a real puncture on one of our wheels. We’ll also give you advice on what kit you should be taking out with you when you ride.
The masterclass is £5 and for your fiver you’ll receive a puncture repair kit and a set of Park Tool tyre levers.

CycleBoost Beginner’s maintenance courses
Our 4-week courses are aimed at complete newcomers to bike maintenance. The course will help you to feel more confident about looking after your own bike and how to deal with minor problems that might arise while you’re out cycling. In January, as well as our usual evening classes, we’re also running some daytime classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Sheffield City council subsidise the cost, so the course is just £5 if you live or work in Sheffield (£45 if you don’t) and for your fiver you’ll receive a puncture repair kit and a set of Park Tool tyre levers.

Wanting a bit more of a challenge?
If you’re already comfortable with repairing punctures and changing your own brake blocks then the ReCycle Bikes’ six-week Complete course will take you to the next level of bike mechanics.
Over the six-week course you’ll learn how to give your bike a full service. Step-by-step you’ll strip your bike down completely and rebuild it, including your headset, bottom bracket and wheels hubs. And If you’d like to learn the skills but don’t want to work on your on bike, we can provide one for you to practise on for some or all of the classes.
Cost: £95.00
This course runs from Wednesday, January 7th, 2015 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM until Wednesday, February 11th. The Course takes place at ReCycle Bikes at the Arches, Norfolk Bridge.
